khania Dighi Mosque / Rajbibi Mosque

This khania dighi mosque is located near a dhigi khania dighi in Pirojpur upazila of Chapainawabganj district. The mosque is also known as Rajbibi Mosque. This Khania Dighi Mosque is one of the architectural monuments of the Sultan period. It is a small mosque built by brick. It measures about 42 square feet. There are 4 octagonal towers in the 4 corners of the mosque. Religious will see a corridor on the east side of this building. There are two octagonal towers in the verandah. It is basically a one-domed mosque. There are 3 small dome in the corridor of the mosque. There are 3 entrances on the eastern wall of the mosque and 1 entrance on the north and south. There are more than 3 entrances to the corridor to enter the corridor. There will be one mihrab on the west wall. Built by brick, this mosque was once rich in terracotta. The mosque has been rebuilt and saved. There is a tahakhana of Shah Niamatullah at Firozpur in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district. Its architectural techniques still fascinate tourists. This tahlati can be seen near the tomb of Shah Niamatullah. Tahkhana is also known as Kacharibari of Shah Shuja. It was a two-storied building. The building is still telling about its past beauty. The staircase of the building is now almost broken. But this single storey still survives. You can see several rooms in the building. Among them, a hammam will impress you today. A large pond will be seen next to the building. The water was supplied to the Hammamah at that place. Tahtala was built in 1655 by the son of Emperor Shahjahan, Sultan Shah Shuja. The tomb of Shah Niamat Ullah

There is a tomb of Shah Niamatullah at Firozpur in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district. Shah Niamatullah was a religion practitioner and a religious figure. You can see this mansion near Shah Niamatullah Mosque, about 600 meters from the small gold mosque. This mausoleum built by bricks and has 1 dome. It is square in the land plan. The original tomb is in the middle of the building. To enter this room there is an entrance path on the south side. There are total 12 entrance paths in the north, south and east of the tomb. There are 4 octagonal towers in the 4th corner of the tomb. You will see small dome again in the towers. Shah Niamatullah came from Gaur in Uttar Pradesh and started preaching and living here. The shrine of Bayezid Bostami

The shrine of Bayezid Bostami is the holiest place in Chittagong which is located in Nasirabad area of Chittagong city. This is a memorial pillar made for Hazrat Bayezid Bostami. However, many religious people believe that this shrine is the actual tomb of Hazrat Barzid Bostami. In 874, Sultan Bayezid Bostami died in his hometown of Bostan, Iran. And there he was buried. There is a legend about pond fish and turtles beside the shrine. There are reports that these were the evil genes.
Because the genes were obstructing the worship of Hazrat Baijid Bostami, Bayazid Bostami converted them into fishes and casts in his miraculous powers. In 2005, some miscreants poured poisons into this pond and killed the fish.

The Andarkilla mosque is built on a hill in the city of Chittagong. It is known that this mosque was built in 1667 under the rule of Nawab Shayesthan Khan. This mosque has a glimpse of the Mughal architectural styles of India. This Indrakila Mosque is considered to be the first mosque of the city of Mughals in Chittagong city. According to history sources, when the territory of Chittagong under the Mughal empire in 1666, the commander of the son of Subedar Nawab Shayesthan Khan, Buzurg Umed Ali Khan, was appointed as the first governor of the region.He built the mosque in the order of Mughal Emperor Muhiuddin Muhammad Aurangzeb. In the time of construction, its name was in Bangladesh's Mosque. In the course of time, the mosque is known as Andarkilla. Lime, rock and stone have been used to build this religious building.The rectangular mosque is 55 feet in length and 24 feet in width. The thickness of the wall is about 7 feet. The mosque has 3 domes. One of the domes is bigger. The mosque has historical significance. In 1723, when another mosque (now known as the current Kadam Mobarak Mosque) beside the hill of Chatti, was set up in a separate piece of stone with the impression of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), then the devotees started offering prayers to the Kadam Mubarak mosque from the Andarkillah mosque. At that time, because the number of devotees in Chittagong was very low, the Andarkilla mosque became almost abandoned. In 1761 East India Company closed the mosque and started using ammunition as a warehouse.At that time, several parts of the building were destroyed in the mosque. After this, religious activities were closed in the mosque for about 133 years. In 1953, when the Muslims of Chittagong, led by Khan Bahadur Hamidullah Khan, petitioned the governor to return the mosque, it was rejected.Later, in 1855, once again the mosque was requested to restore the mosque and get permission to pray in the mosque.
