There are nine dome mosque in the Sadar upazila of Bagerhat district.The location of the mosque next to Thakur Dighi. It is a mosque built in a square, on which the length of each side is about 54 feet. The wall of the building is about 7 feet 6 inches thick. The number of domes of the mosque are 9, hence the mosque has been named Nine Dome Mosque. The mosque has 4 round towers with 4 corners. There are 3 gateways on the north, south and east walls. Ancient road of Khan Jahan period

There is an ancient road about 1 kilometer long till the Kathaltola from the settlement of Khan Jahan in Sadar upazila of Bagerhat district. It is believed that it was built in the fifteenth century. This is the only ancient road in ancient archaeological sites of Bangladesh. Not only for travel, it is believed that the road works as a city barrage. This 1 kilometer long road is about 4.87 meters wide. Locally, this road is known as Khajapir or Khanjali road. This ancient mosque is near the Ghora Dighi and the sixty dome mosque of Bagerhat district. The mosque is a large one-domed structure built in a square. Its each arm is about 50 feet in length. The width of the wall is about 9 feet.There are 3 entrances on the east wall of the mosque and 3 in the north and south walls.The western walls have 3 mihrabs. The mihrabs have beautiful pictorials.There are 4 big towers in the 4th corner of the mosque. According to the construction strategy of the building, it is believed to have been built during the rule of Khan Jahan in the mid-fifteenth century. This mosque is located at Ranvejaypur of Bagerhat district. It is also known as Fakirbari Mosque. Among the ancient mosques, it is the largest domed mosque in Bangladesh. The diameter of the dome is about 36 feet. The mosque is built in a square, with a length of 56 feet. The wall is about 10 feet wide. There are 3 entrances to the east and one entrance to the north and south sides.On the west wall there are 3 Mihrab. Terracotta designs are found in those Mihrab. It is a rugged Doochala building built of bricks.It has become a spectacular building for exceptional construction. Its roof is bent like bows. Its west wall has a mihrab and there are one entrance gate on the north, south and east walls. Terracotta use in the building is noticeable. Terracotta has a lot of trailer-leaf design. Currently the building is being used as a mosque. The mosque has been named after the village name. The largest architectural monument in Bangladesh, sixty dome mosque is located in Sadar upazila of Bagerhat district. Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (ra) built this mosque. The total number of dome in the mosque is 81. Of the 81 dome, 77 are on the main roof. The other 4 dome has 4 corners in the mosque. As it has 60 pillars inside it, it knows as sixty dome mosque. The inner pillars are made of stone. The height of the pillars is about 11 feet.Mosque length is about 169 feet and width is 104 feet. This is the largest mosque in Bangladesh. The wall of the building is very thick and it is about 8.5 feet.There are 4 round towers in the 4 corner of the mosque. The towers are hollow and two-legged.11 entrance to the eastern and 7 entrance to the north and south walls to enter inside the mosque. There are 10 mihrabs on the west wall.
