There is a place named Maisachari with Khagrachari-Mahalchhari road covering just 5-6 kilometers from Khagrachari district headquarters. In this area you will see a hill called Nunachari, on the top of a hill, this Nunachari god pond. The position of this god pond at about seven hundred feet above sea level. Hakaluki Haor, the largest area of Bangladesh, has been part of Hakaluki Haor, in Fenchuganj of Sylhet district, Beanibazar, Gopalganj Upazila. The remaining part is in Moulvibazar district. Most of the haor area(about 70 percent) are in this Moulvibazar. It is spread over Baralekha, Juri, Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district. Haor has around 238 bills. It is a large reservoir of fresh water in Bangladesh. In the winter there is the arrival of guest birds in the haor. Originally these guest birds came from Siberia of northern Asia. In the monsoon season, seeing the water all around, it would seem like a sea. There are more than 500 species of plants in the Haor, and hundreds of species of fish. If you want to visit Haor, you can go to a village of Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district. From there you can roam the boat in this haor.
