This Durgasagar Dighi is one of the largest dighi of Bangladesh. You can see this large dighi at Madhabpasha of Babuganj upazila of Barisal district. This dighi is known as Madhavapasha Dighi to many people.In winter, guest birds roam tourists fascinate.You can roam the boat in this dighi. In 1780, local King Shiv Narayan dug this large ditch at this place to overcome the problem of water of locals. He named the dighi Durga Sagor. In other sources, the wife of King Shiva Narayan, Queen Durgabati, excavated this dighi. Many people come here from far away to make the winter picnic.
