Mahisantosh, the name of a place in Alampur union of Dhamirhat upazila of Naogaon district. It is a place near the border of India in Alampur Union. Here the existence of many archaeological finds has been discovered. The ruins of ancient mosques, buildings, etc. have been found here. So, historically, this place has many archaeological importance. The royal house of this site is a mound named Barudawari. The site was surrounded by the fortress of the earth. At the south-west of this fort you will find two ancient graves. According to locals, the two graves are 'Myintantosh' and his daughter. The archaeological remains of this site are almost extinct today. It is assumed that the site was built sometime at 1500 AD.
