This Manakali Mound is also known as Manakali step or Manakali's Kunda. Here the ruins of a mosque have been discovered. This mosque is believed to be in the fourteenth or fifteenth century.According to many, Emperor Akbar's commander built a temple here. It is also known that there was a pond (Kunda) at the site. Because of this, this place is also called Manakali's Kunda.
