Govinda Bhita

You can see the Govinda Bhita near Mahasthangarh in Shibganj upazila of Bogra district. This site is near the rest house of the Department of Archaeology. Four archaeological finds have been found in this site. In the first period, a Buddhist temple built during the reign of the Gupta in the sixth and seventh centuries, in the second period, the Buddhist temple built during the rule of the Pala kings in the eighth to the ninth century, in the third century, a Hindu temple built during the reign of Sena kings in the third and thirteenth century, and the last construction era was the Christian fifteenth century of Sultan period.
