This Sri Sri Gopinath Deur temple can be seen at Gopinathpur village of Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district. This place is situated about 7 kilometers away from Akkelpur Upazila. There is a tall temple named Patrail Temple near Nilgonj Station of Sadar upazila of Kishoreganj district. It is believed that this temple was built in the 16th century during the Mughal era. The height of the temple is about 80 feet. The temple is built in octagonal of land plan. There is only one room inside the temple. There were numerous terracotta designs inside and outside the temple. This temple was built by a poet named Chandrabati. So this temple is also known as Chandravati Temple or Chandrabati's Math. Chandrabati was the daughter of famous medieval poet Dwija Bansidas. She himself worshiped in this temple. Chandrabati is known as the first female poet of Bengal.
